Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance full stack web applications, backend services, data ingestion and transformation workflows, pricing capabilities, and platform functionality.
- Design, build, and support scalable, secure, cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement RESTful API integrations, microservices, reusable services, and frontend and backend applications.
- Provide L2 production support, troubleshoot escalated issues, analyze customer feedback and operational metrics, and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, release readiness, and quality assurance practices.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, business, client, and technology stakeholders on requirements, roadmaps, technical plans, and tradeoffs.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews, document decisions, share knowledge, and mentor engineers.
- Lead front-end and back-end development during the first 90 days, with an initial focus on data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and pricing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and professional experience.
- 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on full stack development and technical leadership of projects or teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, .NET/C#, ASP.NET, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience building frontend and backend applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations for healthcare, marketplace, or data-driven platforms.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, including PostgreSQL and/or Snowflake, plus experience with data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and pricing workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Jenkins or similar tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform.
- Ability to provide L2 production support, troubleshoot production issues, and translate operational insights into roadmap improvements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technology, product, business, and client teams.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology field.
- Preferred: experience in healthcare technology, pharmacy, marketplace platforms, or fast-moving startup environments.
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, or related technical certifications.
- Preferred: experience with CSS3, HTML5, design systems, accessibility, theming, reusable components, Azure Data Factory, dbt, Talend, or similar data ingestion and ETL/ELT tools.
- Preferred: exposure to Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, TensorFlow, or other AI/ML frameworks or cloud-based AI services.
