Responsibilities
- Partner with business partners and product managers to translate complex customs and logistics problems into technical solutions.
- Design and build integrations with government agencies and external partners.
- Automate customs filing processes and reduce operational manual work.
- Build and launch products incrementally and deploy frequently to production.
- Create domain models for freight forwarding, cargo movement, and customs workflows.
- Deliver supply-chain insights through analytics experiences for logistics teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software-development experience and a strong engineering background.
- Ability to write simple, well-tested, extensible code.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly with business partners, product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.
- Candidates may come from varied technical backgrounds; the company is technology-agnostic, though the platform uses Ruby.
