Responsibilities
- Design and engineer large-scale systems that handle high volumes of transactions.
- Develop, test, measure, and iterate customer-facing product features from idea to final solution.
- Lead technical initiatives from architecture design through implementation.
- Mentor junior developers through guidance, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on collaboration.
- Own code quality, engineering excellence, and engineering best practices.
- Create documentation and improve processes for domain knowledge sharing.
- Resolve complex technical and business problems using analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing large-scale applications.
- Preferably experience with PHP or Java and willingness to work with PHP or Java; experience with Go, C#, or Python is also valued.
- Experience leading architectural decisions and technical initiatives and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and implementing strategies for team growth and skill development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex problems and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Product-first approach to shaping ideas and resolving complex issues.
- Ability to take accountability for tasks and proactively identify and improve technical or business processes.
