Responsibilities
- Design, review, and implement services and clients for data infrastructure.
- Apply and improve coding practices through peer reviews and design reviews, with emphasis on code quality, testability, and efficiency.
- Work with stakeholders and customers to understand business and technical needs.
- Triage, investigate, debug, track, and resolve system issues to maintain operational robustness.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Proficiency in at least one prominent server-side programming language, such as Rust, C++, Go, or Java.
- Experience writing high-performance server code and working with multithreading, caching strategies, and asynchronous I/O.
- Understanding of the big data landscape and the design, strengths, and limitations of Elasticsearch, Kafka, BigTable, Cassandra, and similar tools.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
