Responsibilities
- Build software enterprise-ready infrastructure for an open payment protocol.
- Develop new software financial systems, services, and processes.
- Design, build, scale, and maintain production services.
- Collaborate with the community to improve core protocol and implementation.
- Create a services layer to support mass adoption of Lightning.
- Analyze internal data to enhance solutions.
- Extend Lightning with advanced functionality for complex problems.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in infrastructure or back-end engineering.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or C/C++.
- Experience developing software solutions for Blockchain technologies.
- Experience with Bitcoin Blockchain applications.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
- Experience in complex systems design and implementation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams.
- Ability to use data to influence decisions.
- Familiarity with coding and deployment solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS.
