Base Salary
$110k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software command-and-control solutions for satellite vehicles.
- Decompose mission requirements with customer stakeholders and engineer solutions using existing products.
- Integrate new satellites and flight software into Quindar’s mission management platform.
- Debug low-level software integrations with satellite and other hardware systems.
- Build expertise in command-and-control concepts and industry standards and protocols.
- Support development and integration of solutions across Quindar’s broader product suite.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical information to internal and customer-facing audiences.
- Design for scalability, maintainability, quality, resilience, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with satellite command-and-control systems or similarly complex hardware-software integration efforts.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience developing real-time embedded software and/or integrating hardware assets with mission management software.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- Eligibility to satisfy ITAR requirements or obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
- Preferred experience with CCSDS, CSP, CFDP, IP, satellite data-processing algorithms, XTCE, MIB, AWS services, and open-source software.
- Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, communication, adaptability, independence, and software quality focus.
