Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reactor software for data acquisition, telemetry processing, and command handling.
- Own features end-to-end from specifications to implementation and documentation.
- Build software that operates consistently across simulation and real environments.
- Implement runtime control features such as scheduling and command validation.
- Create and maintain software interfaces for hardware and telemetry systems.
- Develop fault-aware software behavior for detection and recovery.
- Write automated tests to validate system behavior.
- Support hardware testing and debugging across software/hardware boundaries.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to define integration plans.
- Participate in design and code reviews, and root-cause investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years experience for Software Engineer I; 2-5 years for Software Engineer II.
- Strong fundamentals in Python 3 and software design principles.
- Experience with hardware integration and embedded systems.
- Ability to design clear data models and state machines.
- Strong debugging skills across software and hardware.
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- U.S. person status or eligibility for export authorizations.
