Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services.
- Develop backend APIs and integrate AWS services with attention to scalability, security, cost, and performance.
- Implement new features and troubleshoot software issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and automate operational processes.
- Contribute to backend development, generative AI integrations, DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling, and software architecture design and maintenance.
- Work with frontend and backend engineers and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, full-stack development, or a related role.
- Professional experience may be replaced by demonstrated drive, technical skills, and product ownership as a self-starter.
- Proficiency with Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform or relevant Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs for AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and AskSage.
- Strong knowledge of containerized applications and familiarity with Kubernetes cluster deployments.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS.
- Fluency with Git and collaborative development platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, communication, independence, and attention to software maintainability, quality, resilience, and performance.
- U.S. Person status is required, visa sponsorship is unavailable, and the candidate must be able to obtain U.S. security clearance.
- Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required Department of State authorizations.
