Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain drivers, kernel modules, and firmware for embedded Linux systems on ARM and NVIDIA Jetson/Tegra platforms.
  • Write Rust and C/C++ systems software for perception-critical components from board bring-up through production hardening.
  • Build and optimize camera, lidar, and IMU sensor drivers, capture pipelines, buffer management, and data integrity under sustained load.
  • Improve real-time sensing performance by reducing latency and jitter, implementing time synchronization, eliminating dropped frames, and maintaining deterministic multi-sensor pipelines.
  • Test and validate low-level sensor configuration changes across firmware and sensor revisions.
  • Profile and optimize NVIDIA GPU and kernel performance, including CUDA, TensorRT, scheduling, and memory/IO behavior.
  • Own a driver or firmware subsystem end-to-end and contribute to embedded Linux, Yocto/Tegra builds, diagnostics, real-time perception streaming, and ML inference systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least four years of hands-on experience in embedded, firmware, or systems software engineering.
  • Strong Linux internals and driver development knowledge on ARM-based platforms.
  • Proficiency in Rust and C++ for systems-level programming.
  • Experience with NVIDIA embedded platforms, including Jetson/Tegra.
  • Experience developing or maintaining high-throughput camera or lidar drivers with data capture, buffering, and timestamp synchronization.
  • Ability to debug across the hardware/software boundary using device trees, kernel logs, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include NVIDIA GPU and kernel optimization, Yocto-based builds, V4L2, GStreamer, MIPI CSI-2, autonomous vehicles, robotics, safety-critical systems, ROS2, sensor fusion, SLAM, and real-time perception streaming pipelines.
