Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop highly reliable flight software for RTOS and bare-metal environments, including low-level control and autonomous system behaviors.
  • Develop supporting test, validation, and simulation software infrastructure.
  • Participate in requirements definition, design, deployment, and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Design, implement, and verify software systems that control and monitor high-speed optical communications.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, optical, electrical, firmware, and opto-mechanical engineers on design, integration, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or granted asylum due to export control requirements.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 annually, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

  • The position is based in Northridge, California or Redmond, Washington.
