Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end to end.
- Define engineering patterns and standards for the growing engineering team.
- Work directly with the founders and provide technical opinion and leadership.
- Ship reliable, observable production systems consistently and at pace.
- Develop end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure with measurable customer impact.
- Implement observability, monitoring, tracing, retries, and queuing patterns for distributed systems.
Requirements
- Have 3 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably at early-stage startups or with strong 0-to-1 building experience.
- Be proficient in TypeScript and React for frontend development.
- Be proficient in Node.js for backend development.
- Have experience integrating or building workflows around large language models and agent-based platforms.
- Have experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL data storage and database design.
- Demonstrate broad software engineering experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure rather than a narrow ML research or single-domain specialization.
- Have a strong academic foundation in computer science or engineering, or comparably strong demonstrated achievement.
- Be based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area for on-site work.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually.
