Base Salary
$196k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, performant consumer products and features focused on improving Discord engagement.
- Develop core experiences including messaging, voice chat, user profiles, and app navigation across the full stack.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and Marketing to shape the team vision and roadmap.
- Balance user delight, delivery speed, and product impact with design and product partners.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment through empathetic feedback and support for team growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Experience building consumer-facing products for web and mobile platforms.
- Domain expertise in web or mobile front-end development, or both.
- Ability to learn new languages and frameworks and work across the full stack when needed.
- Experience working on product teams with clear metrics goals and measurable positive customer impact.
- Strong product sense and attention to detailed user experience.
- Preferred: React Native product experience and familiarity with Discord’s core features and communication flows.

- Full-time position with US base salary of $196,000 to $245,000, plus equity and benefits.
