Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship experimental product features from database schema and API endpoints through UI components and deployment pipelines.
- Develop production-quality full-stack software using Node.js, Python, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
- Design and implement scalable APIs for web, mobile, and third-party integrations.
- Prototype and integrate AI technologies such as LLMs, embeddings, and agents, and evaluate their performance.
- Architect scalable systems and make decisions about frameworks, infrastructure, caching, and deployment approaches.
- Guide teams through complex projects, mentor colleagues, and contribute technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience building production software with a strong backend focus.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, secure APIs.
- Solid frontend development skills with technologies such as React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture and AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and S3.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and data modeling.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD automation, observability, authentication, authorization, secrets management, AI tools, and modern mobile development.
- Preferred Android development experience using Kotlin, coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
- Technical leadership, tool versatility, collaborative mentorship, and a strong experimentation-oriented approach.
