Base Salary
$163k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Be the technical owner for PeopleOS, enhancing Gustie experiences with HR programs.
- Partner with People Ops to translate workflows into software and support implementation.
- Design, build, test, and maintain integrations across various platforms.
- Build and maintain custom MCP servers for AI access to People Systems data.
- Integrate the Anthropic API to create intelligent internal tools.
- Document integration specs and participate in sprint planning.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions across the portfolio.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, particularly in Python and TypeScript/Node.js.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, including OAuth flows and error handling.
- Ability to integrate SaaS platforms, with bonus experience in Workday or Greenhouse.
- Comfort with AI/LLM API integration and prompt design.
- Experience shipping internal tools with user feedback.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting APIs and tech specs.
- Understanding of HR data sensitivity and labor law implications.
