Base Salary
$153k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack applications and UNION features from interface through data model.
- Design, deploy, and operate backend services, HTTP APIs, and modern web frontends in production.
- Ship LLM-backed interfaces, agents, and other AI-facing features, including evaluation systems to measure output quality.
- Work with engineering, finance, supply chain, and data center operations stakeholders to define and deliver software.
- Own production services, including observability, automated testing, on-call, and incident response.
- Connect applications to data platforms and analytical databases supporting infrastructure planning and operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software across backend services and modern web frontends.
- Strong Python and TypeScript experience, with React, Next.js, or a comparable modern framework.
- Experience designing and operating HTTP APIs with timeouts, retries, and correct handling of partially failed writes.
- Strong SQL and relational data modeling experience, including evolving live schemas.
- Experience shipping LLM-backed production features and measuring output correctness.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and operating owned services.
- Experience with data platforms and analytical databases such as Spark, Kafka, StarRocks, or Snowflake.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and on-call operations.
- Experience working directly with non-engineers to define ambiguous problems and ship adopted software.
- Preferred experience includes AI-native applications, LangGraph and related tracing or evaluation tooling, distributed systems, Iceberg, Delta, Hudi, StarRocks, Snowflake, BigQuery, internal platforms, or operational domains such as capacity planning, supply chain, or finance.
