Base Salary
$153k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI platform features such as agent builder capabilities, agent memory, cost guardrails, and expanded tool integrations.
- Implement and improve retrieval-augmented generation workflows and integrations with external data sources using Model Context Protocol.
- Contribute to code execution and model routing to improve model efficiency, token usage, and cost.
- Partner with AI, product, platform, and security teams to extend AI capabilities across the company.
- Use AI-assisted development tools in daily software development and collaborate through code review and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Be proficient in a statically typed language such as Kotlin or TypeScript.
- Work effectively across multiple partner teams, ramp up quickly in new codebases, and deliver independently.
- Have familiarity with platform or service-oriented engineering practices.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack experience with React; experience shipping production AI products involving agentic workflows, tool calling, or RAG; experience with Anthropic or OpenAI models and APIs; MCP experience; and financial services or investment management background.

- Typical starting base salary of $153,000-$191,000, with an alternate $168,000-$210,000 range in select locations including the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City Metro Area.
