Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build business-critical, high-availability, low-latency, secure, and scalable backend services.
- Own member-facing features end to end from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Implement event-driven architectures and build, test, deploy, and monitor services.
- Collaborate with autonomous multifunctional teams, Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing high-performance, highly scalable backend systems.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as LLMs and code assistants to improve development productivity.
- Hands-on experience building, testing, deploying, and monitoring services.
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and caching systems.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with request processing technologies such as gRPC or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar deployment tools and environments.
