Base Salary
$171k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, integrate, maintain, and enhance the MyApps IAM platform and its releases.
- Support authentication, multi-factor authentication, user provisioning, de-provisioning, workflow review, certification, audit, compliance, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure platform high availability and resiliency, including conducting failover tests for outage continuity.
- Integrate department-specific enhancements and security role-based controls across City departments.
- Mentor junior engineers through training sessions, code reviews, and development guidance.
- Evaluate emerging IAM technologies, AI-driven identity solutions, non-human identity management, and platform modernization opportunities.
Requirements
- Associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a closely related field, or an approved equivalent education or experience substitution.
- Five years of experience designing and architecting web applications.
- Desirable experience includes 7+ years with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Microservices, and SOAP/REST API development.
- Desirable experience includes 5+ years with JavaScript, React.js, AngularJS, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Desirable experience includes 5+ years with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Desirable experience includes 5+ years with authentication and authorization technologies such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID, plus security frameworks including NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI.
- Desirable experience includes 3+ years with Python, NLP, AI/ML, and large language models including OpenAI, BERT, LLaMA, and Claude.
- Demonstrated skill in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availability, including 99.999% uptime.

- Salary range is $171,158 to $215,306 annually.
