Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Convex’s platforms, dashboard UI, integrations, and other services.
- Collaborate directly with customers and company leadership to shape product plans and feature priorities.
- Build user interfaces for Convex Backend Components.
- Enhance Convex’s dashboard, CLI, and MCP for AI agents.
- Upgrade role-based access control to support finer-grained permissions for access tokens and integrations.
- Participate in on-call support and debug difficult production issues when needed.
Requirements
- Strong UX sensibilities and enthusiasm for building intuitive interfaces.
- Ability to understand and conceptualize customers’ needs and business requirements.
- Ability to write high-quality code and work across different layers of the stack.
- Product judgment, architectural sensibility, deep thinking, and a preference for simple, pragmatic solutions.
- Appreciation for excellent engineering and product craft, with strong attention to detail.
- Constructive, positive, energetic, and tenacious approach to startup work.
- Interest in working in person at Convex’s San Francisco office.
