Solutions Architect
Thought MachineResponsibilities
- Present Vault architecture and best practices to senior client stakeholders during pre-sales and delivery engagements.
- Define target architectures and transition states for Vault implementations and migrations.
- Design end-to-end solutions for core banking replacement initiatives centered on the Vault platform.
- Create and use AI agents to accelerate architectural delivery and enable clients to use related assets.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of the Vault platform, roadmap, functionality, and architectural constraints.
- Act as a self-sufficient client-facing consultant and deliver training on Vault functionality and architecture.
- Create and maintain client-facing architectural collateral.
- Provide product feedback to influence features and the Thought Machine product roadmap.
Requirements
- Experience designing enterprise architectures for large financial services institutions.
- Banking domain knowledge, ideally in core banking or payments, including transformation drivers and regulatory context.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting skills.
- Strong technical background with practical knowledge of event-based architecture, CQRS, and process orchestration.
- Expertise in cloud technologies and architectures, including high availability and disaster recovery across multiple availability zones and regions.
- Ability to communicate and defend technical positions to enterprise architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Understanding of banking transformation business contexts, regulatory environments, and execution considerations.
- Experience with large-scale migration programs, particularly core banking migrations, is desirable.
- Experience creating AI agents to accelerate delivery and improve efficiency is desirable.
