Sr. Java SW Engineer, Data Management team

- Design and build software for discovering, classifying, and safeguarding sensitive data.
- Lead platform capability design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Develop reliable, scalable, and high-performing backend and distributed systems.
- Integrate new data sources, storage systems, and services.
- Solve challenges involving scale, concurrency, performance, reliability, and security.
- Contribute through code reviews, testing, operational excellence, architectural direction, and improved engineering standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing software in Java.
- Experience building backend or distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
- Understanding of concurrency, performance optimization, fault tolerance, and system reliability.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills for diagnosing complex technical issues.
- Experience delivering solutions from design through production deployment and ongoing support.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Cloud platforms, storage systems, distributed architectures, large-scale data processing, data discovery, data protection, privacy, governance, or cybersecurity experience is beneficial.
