Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software within agreed timelines and propose solutions to complex problems while evaluating trade-offs.
- Deliver scalable and maintainable solutions to technical challenges efficiently.
- Understand product features and KPIs and collaborate with the Product Manager to guide product development.
- Participate in an on-call environment, respond to high-priority issues, and escalate when appropriate.
- Share knowledge and take shared ownership of software design decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience or interest in working with Node.js, TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform, and PostgreSQL, with openness to the company’s production stack.
- Ability to solve complex and unfamiliar problems independently while involving appropriate teammates when needed.
- Strong focus on code quality, attention to detail, and openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Interest in the world of investments and commitment to applying sound engineering practices.
- Ability to participate in live coding and system design interviews; the interview language is otherwise agnostic.
