Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features from backend APIs through polished member-facing user interfaces
- Design scalable systems and make deliberate tradeoffs among performance, maintainability, and speed to ship
- Integrate AI tools and LLM APIs into product workflows where they add value
- Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code
- Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into software
- Contribute to engineering standards through code reviews, technical discussions, and improved defaults
- Own the design, implementation, and operation of software in a fast-moving startup environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack ownership of production systems
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong experience with React and Next.js for modern, responsive web applications
- Solid fundamentals in system design, testing, debugging, and code review
- Fluent daily use of AI tools such as Claude and Cursor
- Comfort owning cloud deployments, preferably on AWS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Must be based in California
