Base Salary
$112k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the full development lifecycle for internal AI agents, automations, workflows, and full-stack applications from prototyping through production maintenance.
- Build complex agents with Glean and N8N and develop applications using Cursor and Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with product managers and Enterprise Systems teams to securely integrate enterprise data sources within Motive’s data governance structure.
- Test internally developed tools against external vendors and determine the best solution for each use case.
- Evaluate when agentic workflows are preferable to business-logic solutions and select appropriate development tools.
- Manage production cost envelopes by testing LLM models and balancing performance against token consumption costs.
- Create documentation, conduct beta testing, train end users, and maintain launched solutions.
- Track user adoption and financial impact targets for each launched solution and stay current with LLM and agentic orchestration developments.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI fundamentals including context windows, token consumption, compute costs, chunking, and performance benchmarks.
- Knowledge of API usage, scripting, SQL/SOQL, and Python fundamentals.
- Experience with prompt engineering for complex tasks and using foundational models such as Gemini, GPT, and Claude through web interfaces and APIs.
- Familiarity with agentic orchestration layers and MCP.
- Ability to rapidly prototype, experiment, learn from failures, and deliver production-ready internal tools.
- Ability to design accessible solutions that follow UX best practices and can be used by less technical business audiences.
- Ability to make sound judgments about agentic workflows, development tools, data security, and model cost-performance tradeoffs.
