Responsibilities

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant, buildable solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, configure, integrate, test, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, data pipelines, and other tools on Axon’s platform.
  • Deploy and optimize solutions across DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related agency systems until adoption is established.
  • Own customer outcomes across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success while measuring usage, workflow impact, and mission outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
  • Assess operational workflows, define success metrics and baselines, lead QBRs and mission reviews, and support strategic planning.
  • Capture customer insights and reusable implementation patterns to influence Product and Engineering roadmaps.
  • Identify expansion opportunities based on demonstrated impact and partner with Sales on account strategy.
  • Maintain consistent onsite engagement of approximately 3–4 days per week with agency stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping production-ready automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
  • Ability to configure products, write integration logic, and own hands-on builds through production delivery.
  • Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to operate with full ownership in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and navigate priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.
  • Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public-safety ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale is preferred.
