Base Salary
$150k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the shared theme and design system architecture across all Grüns storefronts.
- Architect and ship major features from design handoff to production.
- Build AI-powered engineering workflows to enhance team efficiency.
- Design and implement scalable systems and developer tooling.
- Ensure site performance and reliability through monitoring and standards enforcement.
- Build and maintain integrations between Shopify Plus and backend systems.
- Execute the nCAC and retention roadmaps with full QA and rollout ownership.
- Partner with Ecom, Growth, and Design to align technical milestones with business priorities.
- Champion engineering quality with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Launch new brands and storefronts onto the shared architecture.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of full stack development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience building Shopify themes and apps with Liquid and React.
- Proven track record of owning front-end and back-end Shopify builds end to end.
- Experience building a shared theme or design system across multiple brands.
- Daily use of AI coding tools as a core part of development.
- Deep command of Shopify Plus, Liquid, React/Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with headless commerce approaches.
- Experience with AWS or GCP and performance monitoring is a plus.
