Base Salary
$162k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-speed software models of Arm system-level IP using hardware designs and specifications.
- Build virtual platforms representing hardware components and software stacks such as Linux and Android.
- Support early software development, debugging, and inspection of memory bus transactions.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate software on virtual platforms and diagnose problems.
- Provide feedback on SoC designs based on software modeling experience.
Requirements
- Develop in C and C++.
- Understand computer architecture and system-on-chip designs.
- Have software development experience including coding, testing, and debugging.
- Preferred experience with programmer-view modeling or instruction-level simulators such as QEMU, Simics, Gem5, or Virtualizer.
- Preferred experience developing SoC virtual prototypes using C, C++, SystemC, or TLM.
- Preferred understanding of system-level architecture and integration, including memory management units, cache hierarchies, or interrupt controllers.
- Preferred experience developing low-level or bare-metal software, firmware, or device drivers.
- Collaborate effectively on complex software projects with large, distributed teams and communicate well in written and spoken English.
