Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux-based environments and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Podman.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and platform issues across private and public cloud environments.
- Ensure platform stability, availability, performance, and operational reliability.
- Develop and maintain complex Bash automation scripts and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation, operational efficiency, and DevOps best practices.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry systems.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks and improve observability for business-critical applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and infrastructure teams on deployments, modernization, legacy migration, and cloud adoption.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.
- Practical experience with Docker and Podman or similar container technologies.
- Advanced Bash scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with AWS and hybrid deployments across private and public clouds.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including interfaces, routing, connectivity, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a delivery-oriented mindset, and professional written and spoken English.
- Development experience in C# or Java and understanding of .NET or JVM-based applications is preferred.
- Experience with application lifecycle management, operational support, Linux performance tuning, legacy platform modernization, complex deployment pipelines, and self-hosted tooling is preferred.
