Responsibilities
- Deliver complex, multi-region enterprise integration projects.
- Design scalable, high-availability architectures for global merchants with large transaction volumes.
- Define and uphold technical standards across implementation engineering teams.
- Advise enterprise stakeholders during pre-sales and delivery while shaping integration solutions with Sales.
- Promote reliability, scalability, security, and system design best practices, including idempotency and fault tolerance.
- Mentor Implementation Engineers and raise technical excellence across the organization.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to influence platform evolution and new product design.
- Manage critical escalations and maintain stability of high-scale merchant integrations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting.
- Deep experience with API integrations, system design, and distributed systems.
- Ability to act as a solution architect and trusted advisor in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience contributing to production-level systems and making pragmatic engineering trade-offs.
- Comfort engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers.
- Strong decision-making skills in complex and ambiguous environments.
