Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex cloud, technology, and engineering challenges and connect technology decisions to business value.
- Lead discovery and design sessions, technical workshops, architecture reviews, proof-of-concept projects, and technology evaluations.
- Shape cloud transformation, optimization, and migration strategies and guide programs toward incremental value.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams delivering and prototyping platforms, services, and products.
- Define and evaluate functional and non-functional requirements covering performance, scalability, availability, security, manageability, sustainability, and operations.
- Support improvements in engineering effectiveness, delivery practices, automation, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Provide guidance on privacy, information security, resilience, responsible AI, and regulatory considerations.
- Manage, mentor, and coach colleagues while supporting their technical, consulting, and leadership development.
Requirements
- Experience as a Principal or Lead Cloud Architect, Technical Architect, or Engineering Leader across multiple programs and projects.
- Strong experience designing and delivering solutions with modern cloud technologies and engineering practices.
- Experience working across complex, distributed, or changing technology environments and across applications, platforms, infrastructure, data, and cloud services.
- Strong software and engineering judgment, including the ability to make and explain pragmatic technical trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience contributing through prototyping, technical problem-solving, or guidance to delivery teams.
- Experience in fast-paced, Agile, delivery-oriented environments with a focus on quality and practical delivery.
- Experience guiding, mentoring, and developing colleagues through feedback, coaching, and career support.
- Consulting, presales, proposal, or bid-management experience is preferred as a differentiator.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions and their value to technical and non-technical audiences.
