Responsibilities
- Develop the core Load Distribution engine using finite state machines, dynamic homing, weighted average score algorithms, and hysteresis.
- Architect high-throughput API and messaging layers using gRPC for metrics ingestion and RabbitMQ for event-driven communication.
- Implement distributed leader election and consensus mechanisms using Consul Raft and LockAuthority.
- Integrate Apache Ignite and GridGain for stateless caching and data recovery while supporting more than 3,000 assignments per second.
- Design active-active multi-site architectures that address network partitions, quorums, and site-isolation scenarios.
- Support large-volume transaction systems, data migration workflows, observability, security tooling, and automated deployments.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Golang and proficiency in Java or C/C++.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, concurrency control, and finite state machines.
- Hands-on experience with gRPC, Protobuf v3, RabbitMQ, Apache Ignite, GridGain, Consul Raft, and LockAuthority.
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
- Two to four years of industry experience.
- Preferred qualifications include active-active multi-site architecture experience, transaction systems, data migration, OpenTelemetry, Kibana, Vault, mTLS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and explaining complex ideas.
