Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack features at scale using Go, React, and TypeScript.
- Own technical strategy, architecture evolution, and delivery outcomes for a domain spanning teams and systems.
- Invent developer interfaces for autonomous pipelines, generated fixes, and software-delivery results requiring human judgment.
- Partner with Product and Engineering Management to translate business goals into technical strategy and make informed tradeoffs.
- Drive monitoring and alerting strategy using Honeycomb, Datadog, and Rollbar.
- Mentor multiple engineers and create systems and documentation that scale knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to AI-native engineering practices and use AI tools as part of the default problem-solving approach.
Requirements
- 8+ years of production full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack skills with React and TypeScript on the frontend and Go on the backend.
- Experience with API design, data modeling, and service integration.
- Experience owning architecture decisions across multiple systems and teams, including documenting tradeoffs and resolving ambiguity.
- Track record of shipping and owning systems that other engineers build on.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect technical decisions to broader business goals.
- Technical leadership experience mentoring engineers, providing direct feedback, and raising quality standards through reviews and design discussions.
- Daily use of AI tools and ability to explain what has been built with them, how they changed the approach, and where they fall short.

- Canada base pay range is $195,500—$244,500 CAD per year.
