Responsibilities
- Own and architect high-availability NoSQL platforms and replication strategies.
- Design and implement database provisioning platforms using Terraform.
- Lead incident response for critical outages and define SLIs/SLOs.
- Execute cloud migration strategies from on-premises to GCP.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in building and managing large-scale production database environments.
- Expertise in architecture and troubleshooting of Cassandra, Couchbase, or Redis.
- Experience managing Cloud SQL on GCP and using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
