Senior Software Engineer I - Billing Engineering

Responsibilities
- Review and resolve escalated support tickets related to billing issues.
- Develop tooling to automate billing and customer management processes.
- Take ownership of core billing platform operations and compliance reporting.
- Design and maintain automation tooling for operational tasks.
- Collaborate with architecture and cloud operations for platform stability.
- Develop revenue assurance tooling to identify potential revenue leaks.
- Manage operational aspects of new product launches.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless processes.
- Improve documentation of the platform and control plane.
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Go; experience in Ruby is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems and multi-service deployments.
- Hands-on knowledge of microservices and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is optional.
