Responsibilities
- Engineer stable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure software solutions.
- Lead technical development at the product, team, or domain level and own technical delivery and application health.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews and team ceremonies.
- Apply build, release, DevOps, quality assurance, test automation, performance testing, regression testing, and debugging practices.
- Identify opportunities for reuse and automation to reduce repetitive manual work.
- Own technical custodianship, governance activities, and incident root-cause analysis for technical assets.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge as a subject matter expert, and contribute to technical communities.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and align on progress.
- Provide hardware, software, and network support as needed.
- Stay current with technology trends and emerging tools and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Apply basic AI concepts using established tools and procedures to address familiar scenarios.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of software engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of system design and subject matter expertise in key technologies and domains.
- Ability to independently write clean, efficient, well-documented code.
- Experience applying traditional and agile best practices to plan, prioritize, and deliver work.
- Ability to support automation, performance checks, regression testing, and debugging.
- Ability to lead technical development and take ownership of delivery, application health, governance, and incident analysis.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to apply logic, prioritization, critical thinking, and customer-focused behaviors.
