Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions and production code.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Develop Java and Spring-based services, React frontends, REST APIs, microservices, and database integrations.
  • Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets, identify patterns, and use insights to improve coding hygiene, system architecture, and application quality.
  • Contribute to engineering communities of practice and guide peers on safe and effective AI-assisted development.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, microservices patterns, and REST API development.
  • Experience with React JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their correctness, performance, security, and responsible use.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle, including exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile methodologies.
  • Preferred experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Kubernetes, AWS, Copilot, and Claude.
