Base Salary
$140k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize secure, scalable systems using queueing architectures, NoSQL, and SQL storage.
- Lead medium to large developer-platform initiatives and guide platform architecture and foundational feature development.
- Build secure backend services and agents using JavaScript or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Develop and maintain feedback loops for AI agents.
- Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and cross-functional partners to understand needs and iterate on solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
- Manage incident response coordination and participate in rotational on-call.
- Participate in software development practices including automated testing, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with C#, Node.js, Java, or other modern programming languages.
- Experience building cloud-native services with REST APIs and microservice-based architectures.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Docker, TypeScript, Node.js, Azure, AKS, and Cosmos.
- Preferred experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging multi-regional web services and large-scale cloud services.
- Preferred experience with high-scale distributed systems, fault-tolerant design, performance tuning, and test-driven development.
