Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
- Build visually rich and custom user experiences for the Android platform.
- Implement, improve, fix, and propose technical and product changes.
- Experiment with new technologies to optimize Android experiences.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented, and security-conscious code.
- Keep current with the technology landscape and adapt to Android framework changes.
- Own the full application lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the Google Play Store.
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Compose, Dagger, and GraphQL API.
- Strong analytical thinking across technical and product domains.
- Passion for delivering high-quality UX and working with custom UI.
- Clear, concise communication with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
- Interest in other technology stacks; prior fintech experience is an asset but not required.
