Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and scalable runner environments for C++, Python, and Node.js projects.
- Develop automated tooling integrations, webhook dispatchers, and scripts connecting GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
- Write Python and Bash extensions for the pi-gov harness, including secure LLM routing and local container configurations.
- Deploy and scale Forge in Azure Gov Cloud while optimizing runner autoscaling and cloud compute usage.
- Maintain and secure Artifactory package registries and implement container builds with BuildKit, secret injection, and Entra ID integration.
- Migrate legacy build systems to reproducible Nix developer environments using Nix derivations and flake configurations.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, broken builds, registry access issues, and configuration drift across development environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building, maintaining, and scaling enterprise CI/CD systems with deep GitLab CI/CD and runner infrastructure expertise.
- Experience writing Bash and Python scripts and using webhooks and APIs to integrate engineering tools.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, multi-stage builds, and package managers such as Conan, Poetry, or Nix.
- Experience deploying and managing application workloads in cloud environments such as Azure Gov Cloud or AWS.
- Experience with secure software development, secret management, and identity providers including Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Linux system administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET security clearance.
