Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Architect highly available, scalable, automated private-cloud, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Design resilient multi-region infrastructure supporting worldwide deployments, disaster recovery, cross-region replication, service discovery, global traffic management, capacity planning, and infrastructure resilience.
  • Lead development of self-service engineering platforms for environment provisioning, infrastructure provisioning, and golden platform templates.
  • Drive reliability engineering, capacity management, incident prevention, performance optimization, SLOs, production readiness, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with AI, data, network and security, and application teams to establish consistent, scalable platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in North America and Taiwan on global infrastructure architecture and platform standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of software engineering or infrastructure engineering experience.
  • At least 3 years leading architecture for cloud-native platforms or distributed infrastructure.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Distinguished Engineer, or Technical Lead.
  • Deep expertise designing enterprise infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, and resilience.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and provisioning automation.
  • Deep understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, consensus algorithms, service discovery, distributed scheduling, load balancing, event-driven architecture, scalability, CAP theorem, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with ingress controllers, API gateways, global load balancing, DNS, and traffic routing.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or Java and experience building platform services, operators, or infrastructure tooling.
  • Preferred experience supporting thousands of engineers, global engineering organizations, AI platforms, data platforms, manufacturing systems, hybrid cloud, or mission-critical enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical communication skills for collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Base salary typically ranges from $137,300 to $183,650 per year, with a full job-grade range of $137,300 to $199,100; compensation figures are excluded from structured salary benefits.
