Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and support native iOS mobile applications according to Schwab development standards.
- Assess and optimize mobile designs and user experiences for phones and tablets.
- Build native mobile features, support production systems, and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Create and perform unit tests and automated UI tests across a range of mobile devices.
- Debug memory and performance issues and integrate applications with REST APIs.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders on technical solutions.
- Implement accessibility features such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of native iOS development experience.
- Expert-level working experience with Swift and experience with SwiftUI and Combine.
- Experience writing unit tests and automated UI tests using XCTest.
- Experience with CI/CD, debugging, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
- Experience with reactive architecture, native modular features, SOLID design principles, and accessibility features is preferred or advantageous as specified.
- Experience debugging memory and performance issues and working with architects and stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Understanding of iterative development methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
- Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Enterprise development experience is highly desirable.
