Base Salary

$165k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the success of selected platform subsystems and contribute to medium- and large-impact initiatives.
  • Create technical designs, technical plans, one-pagers, and other engineering artifacts addressing cost efficiency, security, and observability.
  • Use Kubernetes, GCP, Helm, Terraform, Datadog, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Atlantis, and Docker to deliver platform work.
  • Improve company-wide developer velocity and harden reliability and observability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, resolve root causes, and reduce noisy monitors.
  • Help interview potential teammates.

Requirements

  • Systems expertise with stateless and fault-tolerant systems, eventing patterns, and distributed paradigms.
  • Experience leveraging agentic tooling to enhance daily work and detect and mitigate production issues.
  • Ability to evaluate technical and business trade-offs and anticipate future needs.
  • Strong cross-team collaboration and data-oriented decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, GCP, and Terraform.
  • Helm, Docker, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Datadog, and GraphQL are preferred.
