Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple firmware and software teams to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Expand DevOps tools and processes to new teams across the organization.
- Implement continuous integration frameworks and maintain DevOps tooling.
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex software architectures and virtual machine or container environments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for engineers in Bangalore and communicate proposals clearly.
- Mentor junior engineers and evangelize DevOps tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (BSEE or BSCE).
- 12+ years of industry experience in software, firmware, and/or DevOps.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and evangelizing software DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of the Agile approach to software development.
- Strong written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills.
- Experience with Docker or other tools for creating and maintaining virtual machines or containers.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex architectures.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Make, CMake, and Python.
- Experience working in both Linux and Windows development environments; knowledge of other scripting languages is desired.
