Responsibilities
- Build core infrastructure services and backend distributed systems supporting machine learning, frontend, and platform teams.
- Develop infrastructure for distributed configuration management, rate limiting, feature flags, A/B testing, and traffic capture and replay.
- Improve the performance, scalability, latency, and observability of Moveworks cloud infrastructure.
- Deliver deadline-sensitive work in coordination with other engineering teams.
- Own features end to end and influence the infrastructure roadmap.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining backend distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, Golang, or C++.
- Experience with containers and Docker, and with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience solving performance, optimization, scalability, latency, and monitoring challenges.
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to integrate or critically evaluate AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- High ownership, motivation, curiosity, and willingness to work at a startup pace and learn beyond one's immediate discipline.
