Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Magellan Engineering platform for network design, automation, business-as-usual operations, High Split, RDOF initiatives, and network outage diagnostics.
- Develop enterprise-level GIS applications and build REST APIs using Node.js.
- Design data models and implement efficient queries and aggregation pipelines for document-based databases.
- Use Jenkins, Docker, Harness, and Kubernetes to support software delivery.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to deliver product features and meet project deadlines.
- Write high-quality software using unit testing and test-driven development.
- Mentor new developers, review code, and document and maintain software functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience building REST APIs using Node.js in a business environment and using a NoSQL database such as MongoDB.
- At least 3 years of experience using Agile methodologies to ship code and developing enterprise-level GIS applications.
- At least 1 year of experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Harness, and Kubernetes.
