Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support functional and system software applications that validate production assemblies and systems.
- Create and maintain C# and SQL-based internal applications.
- Automate manual testing, logging, and paper-based processes during software development.
- Develop technical specifications and test plans, and support ad-hoc reporting and data-mining activities.
- Provide programming support for interfaces and collaborate with Operations, Production, and IT on test capabilities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for internal production issues.
- Support AS9100 and ISO9001 quality practices.
Requirements
- Experience developing functional software, test scripts, or automation systems.
- Proficiency with DevOps, C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, and standard internet communication protocols.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with creative and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a co-op program through an accredited university.
- Able to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program clearance.
Benefits
- This is a 16-month co-op term, with 12-month terms occasionally available.
- The co-op term starts in May 2026 and is based in Waterdown, Ontario.
