Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support functional and system software applications for validating production assemblies and systems.
- Automate manual testing, logging, and paper-based processes during software development.
- Create and maintain custom internal applications using C# and SQL.
- Develop technical specifications and test plans, and support ad hoc reporting and data mining.
- Provide programming support for various interfaces.
- Work with Operations, Production, and IT to build new test capabilities and improve existing test procedures.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal production issues.
- Support AS9100 and ISO9001 quality practices.
Requirements
- Experience developing functional software, test scripts, or automation systems.
- Proficiency with DevOps, C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL is an asset.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, and other standard internet communication protocols.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with creativity and innovation.
- Currently working toward a university degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a co-op program through an accredited university.
- Able to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program clearance.
- Must be able to complete a 16-month co-op term starting May 2027.
