Responsibilities
- Assist FPGA designers in creating, maintaining, and enhancing internal web-based software tools.
- Create, maintain, and enhance test and verification suites for software tools.
- Create and maintain documentation and requirements for internal tools.
- Follow departmental coding guidelines and provide support to teams outside the FPGA group.
- Share lessons learned, participate in training and innovation initiatives, and complete other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a co-op program through an accredited university.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or advanced degree program in engineering.
- Proficiency in Python software coding and experience with Flask.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and frontend web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Angular and relational database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux, C/C++, VHDL, and software verification is desirable.
- Must be able to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program approval.
- Must be available for a 16-month co-op term beginning May 2027.
