Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance internal web-based software tools supporting FPGA designers.
- Create and maintain test and verification suites for new and existing tools.
- Create and maintain documentation and requirements for internal tools.
- Provide input and support to teams outside the FPGA group.
- Share lessons learned, participate in training, and contribute to continuous innovation.
- Follow departmental coding practices and complete additional tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Python software coding experience and familiarity with Flask.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and frontend web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Angular and relational database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux, C/C++, VHDL, and software verification is desired.
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced engineering degree program at an accredited university and current good standing in a co-op program.
- Ability to complete a 16-month co-op term starting May 2026 and obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program eligibility.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation, collaboration, and self-starting skills.
