Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, and document highly available and scalable mission-critical applications.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, business analysts, and quality engineers on functional and technical requirements.
- Develop new functionality for core backend platforms and systems powering next-generation services.
- Support large-scale distributed applications and contribute to event-based and asynchronous processing.
- Use software development and test automation practices to deliver reliable applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Java object-oriented programming experience.
- Proven experience working in multi-tier, distributed architecture environments.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
- Experience with JSON and XML.
- Extensive experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting large-scale systems.
- Understanding of event-driven systems and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with unit and integration test automation.
- Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
- Strong problem-solving, self-organization, and communication skills.
