Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise frontend web applications using React or Angular and TypeScript.
- Build SPA and micro-frontend architectures, reusable UI component libraries, and modular design systems.
- Implement state management and integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket streams.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical spikes, story point sizing, and time and cost estimates.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes, rendering paths, lazy loading, and memory usage.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
- Mitigate frontend security vulnerabilities, including XSS, CSRF, CSP violations, and dependency risks.
- Manage build configurations, code pipelines, automated linting and formatting, and deployments across development, UAT, and production.
- Use AI-assisted developer productivity tools for scaffolding, test generation, and code reviews.
- Lead code reviews, branch strategies, engineering guidelines, coding standards, and documentation.
- Mentor and advise junior and mid-level software engineers.
- Partner with business users, product managers, backend engineers, UX/UI designers, architecture leads, and technology teams on frontend solutions.
- Assess technical and architectural risks, safeguard client assets, follow internal policies, and escalate control issues.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on modern web and frontend technologies.
- Strong React experience, including React 18+, React Hooks, custom hooks, Context API, and Redux or Zustand; Angular experience is an alternative.
- Proficiency with JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, semantic markup, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with micro-frontends, SPAs, SSR or static generation concepts, responsive and adaptive web design, and frontend data integration.
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine/Karma, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Webpack, Vite, npm, or yarn.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub Enterprise.
- Knowledge of Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WCAG 2.1 AA, ARIA attributes, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Tekton, Jenkins, Harness, Docker, OpenShift, and SonarQube.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLM-based coding tools.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work under limited supervision.
