Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale database migration projects with minimal downtime and zero data loss.
- Design and execute deployment strategies for various data stores.
- Utilize AI-powered automation to enhance data platform quality pillars.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools to automate and ship database changes.
- Collaborate with the Data Insights team on lakehouse enablement.
- Guide engineers in delivering appropriate database solutions.
- Develop and share high-quality documentation and knowledge resources.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI-assisted development workflows.
- 5+ years of experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL in production environments.
- 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
- Exposure to lakehouse and analytics infrastructure is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for technical topics.
